Stop It
by Chris
If something isn’t working for you, stop it.
If something no longer provides value to you, stop it.
If something you are doing isn’t bringing you closer to where you want to be, stop it.
If that book your reading is boring, or not holding your interest, stop it.
If you can get through that obstacle with your current method, stop it.
If you aren’t loving every minute, stop it.
There is nothing wrong with stopping what isn’t working, needed or effective.
Stopping isn’t failure – it’s an opportunity to start something else that will get you back on the right path.
What have you stopped recently? How did it help you?

I quit my job a couple days ago. Again. My second this year.
It feels awesome though. As always.
It took me a while to realise that we don’t have to do things we don’t like. Such as a job that sucks. Or seeing old friends we don’t connect with anymore. Or like you, simple stuff, reading a book that’s crap. I was raised to finish what I started. Finally I can see
Great strong post.
@Conni Congrats on quitting another jobs. What are you working on now?
Thanks! I hear you re: old connections that don’t work anymore. Anything that no longer provides value should be eliminated.
I am stopping the Insanity of chasing money, I always get got up with ways to make money.
I have learned that chasing money all the time was stressing me out, I will focus instead on Spiritualy nourishing Stuff, Building Relationships, and Having great experiences.
@shortyd30 I’ve been thinking the same recently. I realised while doing my annual review, that while a lot of my activities are non money-making, there is a pressure to make money. Of course money is needed to survive, but as the song goes, ‘the best things in life are free’. Thanks for your comment.
