There are some things that you know a lot about.
There are some things that you are clueless about.
You’ll find that:
- Some people also know a lot about the same things you do.
- Some people know nothing about the things you do.
- Some people know a lot of things about what you are clueless about.
- Some people also know nothing about what you are clueless about.
What this means:
- Hire people to do things that you are clueless about.
- Sell to people who are clueless about what you know a lot about.
Just because it is easy for you, don’t forget that it other people will be clueless about it.
Sounds so simple (because it is). Yet so many don’t grasp these basic rules of buying and selling services for business.
Review the above list regularly.
Don’t be nervous to charge for what is easy for you.
Don’t dismiss people who are clueless about things. You are clueless about a lot of things yourself.
